I must first thanked Niger and his family for letting us use the facilities in their Condominium for our 2nd gathering And also Yujia for painstakingly organising another gathering. Almost those who didnt turn up in our 1st gathering (jeremiah, yiping, weishan, hpone, weiheng, yeehueh) at lovely's house came for the 2nd bbq. those who didnt make it in both the gatherings (jabbar, keith, gabriel, sean and many others) better come for the next gathering maybe at the end of the year. No Excuse Please. and also we missed rena, lovely, iman who did not manage to come due to some unforseen circumstances.
I was really moved by all of you for the effort and time you put in for the gathering. Shenyang, Hpone and Ridzwan who just came from their NCC Camp also turned out for the gathering although their bones were breaking apart. Those who had tuitions, or who had overslept during the day, or with loads of projects to do, had put aside their time to come.
the food was really fantastic. we had satay, barbecued fish,mini octopus, chicken wing and not forgetting beehoon and curry. we had a good time setting the charcoal and bbqing. Ian Ang was awarded with Degree in Lighting Up Charcoal and the Art of BBQing from Quintet University and made sure we ate our fill. Other people who had helped out in preparing the bbq food like Cassandra, YeeHueh, Yujia, Jeremiah. These people will soon be getting their Diploma in Fanning Fire and the Art of BBQing from Quintet Polytechnic in the coming convocation ceremony. Thanks to Clarence Sim for taking photographs for me to upload them for all of us to enjoy.
